cleared by Censors

Subhash Ghai's YAADEIN has been passed by the
censors without any cuts. An excited Subhash Ghai
called this writer to reveal the news. "The
Examining Committee, which viewed the film on
Friday, June 29, were all praise for the film,"
he said.
In the meanwhile, Ghai has voluntarily deleted 14
minutes' footage from the film. "The original
length of YAADEIN was 3.25 hours, which has been
brought down to 3.11 hours," Ghai reveals.
However, there is speculation that the film would be
postponed by a week. "Not at all," Ghai
states, adding in the same breath, "I had
finalised the release date of the film way back in
January and I am not going to postpone it by even
one day. The film will release on July 27."
