Lara
to take the filmi plunge in Hollywood

 Like
other beauty queens, Former Miss Universe Lara Dutta
is also getting ready to daub the greasepaint.
However, unlike her Indian counterparts, Lara is set
to begin her acting career not in Bollywood but in
Hollywood. For, Lara is believed to have signed not
one but two major projects of Hollywood’s leading
production houses.
One of them is the celluloid venture by the famous
Coen brothers (of the “Fargo” fame). Acclaimed
for their offbeat subjects and taut screenplay, Coen
brothers reportedly have a plum role for Lara in
their next film, the title for which is yet to be
finalized.
 The
buzz has it that Lara came to their notice after she
won the Miss Universe tiara last year. Lara, who is
currently in Mumbai, will be flying to the Big Apple
by the July-end to shoot for the film.
The second film Lara has signed is another
significant project about which Lara is keeping mum.
“I am not allowed to reveal any details until they
(producers) give me a go-ahead,” concedes the
dusky lass.
As if two films were not enough, Lara will also be
anchoring a TV show for E! Entertainment, the
shooting for which will begin parallel to her
Hollywood shoots.
