has always been lucky for Sunny Deol.
June 13, 1997 saw the release of BORDER, which
opened to mixed reports, but took the nation by
storm subsequently.
June 15, 2001 saw GADAR-EK PREM KATHA opening to a
terrific response and besides emerging the biggest
hit of 2001, is also rewriting history in North
India.
Incidentally, both the films have one thing in
common patriotism.
So the next time the producers of Sunny Deol
starrers want to time the release of their films,
think June!
P.S.: This June has proved special for Sunny since
Friday, June 15 saw the release of GADAR and the
very next day, June 16, brother Bobby Deol turned
proud father of a baby boy.
